Alejandro Bernal is a Colombian multi-instrumentalist of classical background, with inspirations ranging from experimental to poetry. His work results in explorations close to shoegaze and ambient with winks to the dance floor.
He’s part of the collective projects Mr. Bleat, Danta and [expr] Taller de prácticas sonoras; where he performs as an interpreter, composer and producer. Projects with which he has participated in the most important festivals of his country and has toured different cities of the American continent.
In 2019 he was selected as a Colombian talent to participate in the Dermuzikplatz platform in Mexico City, where he has the opportunity to work with the musician Raz Ohara and to present his music at the NRML festival.
He is a founding member of the label Música Corriente and is a resident DJ at the La Pascasia venue in the city of Medellin.
